Step your game up.

Sorry I’ve been MIA. Had a death in the family and had to go back up north for a little bit. Tonight was one of my best workouts in a long time. I worked out with one of my old friends who was one of the main people to get me in the gym in the first place. He’s pretty much a monster in all regards. A couple years ago broke the world record for bench press in the under 25 category. Anyways we worked out at Gold’s Gym and I had to push myself to the limit. My workouts were always tough and challenging but this was a whole different level. I picked up tips and advice that I plan on incorporating immediately. Goes to show that no matter how much you think you know and how much progress you’re making there is always room for improvement. One of the greatest pieces of advice he gave me is that you have to realize that no matter how big you get there will always be someone bigger than you. So therefore you can’t measure yourself against everyone else. You have to measure yourself against yourself.

Moral of the Story: Fitness is not just about building yourself physically. It’s also about building yourself mentally.
